The Female Founders in FoodTech Pitch Showcase (“F^3”) is presented by Supply Change Capital in partnership with Ajinomoto, General Mills, The Annenberg Foundation, Foodbytes by Rabobank (the “Presenters”) with the participation of the selection committee (the “Selection Committee”) which will review your submission to F^3 (a “Submission”).
All awards granted in connection with F^3 (an “Award”) are subject to the rules and restrictions set forth on this website and as provided herein (the “Rules”).
All Awards are subject to the confirmed availability of the recipients to participate. For example, if you are unable to attend the finals or SXSW, you will not be eligible to receive or retain any Award. Awards are non-transferable, may be granted to the confirmed semi-finalists, winners, and runners up (each, a “Winner”) only, may not be sold for cash or substituted, and must be accepted as awarded. Winners will be chosen in the sole discretion of the Presenters and the Selection Committee. The Presenters and Selection Committee will have no liability for any decision to grant any Award or reject any Submission, and such decisions are final and binding in all respects. You agree that your eligibility for and receipt of any Award may be subject to additional conditions and restrictions and that you must comply with and agree to any such conditions and restrictions to be eligible for or receive an Award. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiting of an Award. Any additional costs incurred by a Winner in connection with an Award, including the reporting or payment of any taxes, is the sole responsibility of the Winner.
By making the Submission, you agree (i) that you own all intellectual property rights to the materials therein; (ii) to the use of your name and likeness for marketing purposes; and (iii) to indemnify, defend, release, discharge, and hold harmless the Presenters, the Selection Committee, and their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of a Submission, an Award, or your misconduct or other breach of the Rules. You acknowledge that you are responsible for all materials in your Submission, and you bear full liability for its content, including its legality, reliability, appropriateness, originality.
Neither the Presenters nor the Selection Committee shall be liable for any technical issues or malfunctions related to your Submission. F^3 is subject to all applicable laws and regulations void where prohibited by law. The Rules apply in equal force and effect to all employees, independent contractors, subsidiaries, affiliates, and agents of each entity that makes a Submission.
The Presenters reserve the right to refuse, withdraw, or disqualify any Submission or Award at any time if, in the Presenters’ sole discretion, you violate any provision of the Rules. The Rules are governed by the laws of the state of Delaware. You agree that any disputes arising out of the Rules shall be resolved in arbitration, which decision shall be final and binding upon the parties. You agree that any damages you may be entitled to recover will be limited to your out-of-pocket expenses incurred in participating in F^3 and you hereby waive all punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including any award of attorney’s fees.
